The guides on this blog answer the questions guests ask us before a private bourbon day. Planning: how to plan a Kentucky bourbon tour covers lead times, from 2 to 4 months most of the year to 6 months or more for the Bourbon Festival in mid-September, and the best time to visit bourbon country covers the peak months of October, April and May.

Cost: what a private bourbon tour costs lists the rate for every group size, from $425 per person for two guests to $275 per person at ten or more, plus 6% KY sales tax and a 3% booking fee.

Van for 7 to 14 guests, $150 an hour. 4-hour minimum, plus 6% KY sales tax and a 3% booking fee. Billing runs from the time our vehicle leaves our garage until it returns.
